The Last Dance at ThugLit.com

Saturday, March 01, 2008, 11:39 AM

My short story, The Last Dance, has just appeared in Issue 24 of ThugLit.

I'm sure some (mostly Ello) will be glad to move on from the babboon's arse. Things are still insanely busy in Conduit Land, but I'll be trying to blog a little more regularly in the coming weeks. No promises, though, as not only am I flat out in my real-world business, I've also just started a new novel...

Ello was not the only one who hated the babboon arse...

I'll check out that thuglit story.

Whatya mean "a new novel?" The one about the kids in the suicide club? Or something different?

You might want to keep an eye on BookEnds - they should be announcing the erotica :-O contest winner Monday and starting the next contest - could possibly be the thriller one since they've promised to go out of order from their list.

Oh my God, Stuart, that was so good. I am desolated by the story. My heart is wrenched. It is excellent, marvelous, incredible. I could not tear my eyes off the screen. When I finished, I felt I needed a drink also. Stuart, you are a fucking amazing writer. I will read anything you write.

Congratulations!

I also am grateful to not have the baboon's arse staring at me any more. Koala butt is so much more artistic.

Thanks to all for the kind comments.

Josephine: Ah, the new novel - no, it's not SC. It's a more straightforward thriller than Followers, set in Belfast at the time of the Hunger Strikes in 1981. I will reveal more once it gathers pace.

Ello: You made me blush. :)

McKoala: I'll have to take your word for that.

Price of Silence and Aerin: Thanks for stopping by, it's always good to see new people here.
